Vivstavarvstjärns Camping

We continuously monitor the development of Covid-19

We continuously follow the development of Covid-19 as well as the recommendations and advice of the Public Health Agency of Sweden. Our guests come in caravans, motorhomes, tents or rent a cabin or hostel room. As a guest with your own accommodation, you can control your own local environment and feel as safe at our campsite as at home. As a cabin guest you have your own area with your own terrace and a lot of air around you. As a hostel guest you stay in your own room where you can be by yourself.  The campsite is located in a scenic area where you can easily walk in the forest and land, which gives you as a guest additional security.

In order to create great security for you as a guest and for our employees, we have taken the following measures:

  • We follow guidelines and recommendations from authorities and update our procedures accordingly.
  • Public areas such as service houses, latrine emptying, kitchens are cleaned more often and more thoroughly.
  • Our guests always have access to soap and hand sanitizer in our sanitary facilities.
  • We have created our own booths around each washbasin.
  • We regularly clean door handles, taps and other surfaces that are used frequently.
  • We mark on the floor of our reception and kiosk so that you as a guest can more easily keep your distance.
  • We signposts with how many people are allowed to stay at the same time in our public areas.
  • Employees who feel sick stay at home.

This is what it looks like in our service building.

  • Each toilet has its own door
  • The shower is its own booth where you can change and lock yourself
  • Washbasins are separated by plexiglass screens.
  • Disk slots are separated by plexiglass screens

What is your responsibility to reduce risks for you and others:

  • Avoid visiting our public areas if you have flu-like symptoms.
  • Keep your distance from each other and follow the instructions that have been given.
  • Wash your hands thoroughly and often
  • Cough or sneeze in the elbow
  • Clean equipment and wipe surfaces after using them, e.g. in our shared kitchens.
  • Help us limit the number of visitors to service houses, self-house kitchens and latrine emptying
  • Queue outside in the fresh air
  • Take special care if you belong to a risk group or are over 70 years of age

For the installation of your camping vehicles, we follow MSB's recommendations for fireproof camping.
