Vivstavarvstjärns Camping in Timrå

Welcome to Vivstavarvstjärns Camping in Timrå. Let the campsite be the base camp for your visits to the Timrå-Sundsvall area.  

We are the small campsite with proximity to most things that attract in the Sundsvall-Timrå area. The campsite with cottages and hostels is beautifully located in a wooded area near Timrå center, the E4 and SCA Arena. To Birsta shopping center it is only 8 km. In Timrå center 1.5 km away there are several restaurants, Pizzerias, grocery stores and Systembolag.

Let's be your stop on the road to the north or south. Why not stop on your way to the North Cape, Lofoten or to northern Sweden. We can also be your base camp for excursions in the area. For us it is easy to turn off for the night or for a longer stop. Most of it is within not too much driving distance. Sundsvall and Stenstan can be reached by bus 120, which also has stops at Birsta shopping centre. From Vivstavarvstjärns Camping it is not many miles to the High Coast, Kill The Fall or thai pavilion in Utanede.

The area is scenic around Vivstavarvstjärn, which also has a family-friendly swimming area. The campsite has varied forest and grass pitches where you can park your caravan, motorhome or tent. The campsite has 48 electric pitches and in our reception building you will also find a simple kiosk. The service building has 5 showers and 6 toilets, of which one shower and toilet are adapted for the disabled. There is also a self-catering kitchen with a stove, microwave and facilities for serving dinner.

Vivstavarvtjärns Camping has 5 cabins 2 with 4 beds, 2 with 2 beds and 1 with 6 beds. The beds are equipped with duvet and pillow, sheets you bring yourself or rent from us. Sleeping bags are not allowed. Dogs are welcome in the cottages at an extra cost. Outside each cottage there is a parking lot for those who come by car or motorcycle.

The hostel has 5 double rooms and 2 single rooms. The double rooms have single beds except one which has a bunk bed. There is a toilet and shower in the corridor, and a shared self-catering kitchen. More showers and toilets can be found in the service building (4 m away), when the campsite is open. Dogs are welcome at the hostel for an extra fee. If you don't want to clean yourself, you can add a departure cleaning service. You can bring your own sheets or rent them from us.
