Welcome to Vivstavarvstjärns Camping, Stugor och Vandrarhem. For bookings with us the following applies:

This campsite is a member of SCR Svensk Camping where Camping Key Europe or Camping ID is mandatory for accommodation at the campsite. For other types of accommodation than tents, caravans or motorhomes, other conditions may apply. Check with the establishment. If you do not have a Camping Key Europe or Camping ID, we will help you arrange this on arrival.

Who is responsible for the booking?
Responsible for the booking is Timrå Camping AB with organization number 556914 - 5187, Tallvägen 3 A, 854 66 SUNDSVALL. The name of the site is Vivstavarvstjärns Camping, with address Vivstavarvstjärnen 1, 861 33 TIMRÅ. With "us" or "we" and "our" below refers to Vivstavarvstjärns camping, cabins and hostel.

Age limit for booking and access
To book/enter into an agreement with us, you must be 18 years old. For group bookings, at least two people must be 18 years old, unless a higher age limit is specified in connection with the booking. However, single parents living with several children are exempt from this requirement. If you are unsure, check what applies at the campsite in question. Identification may be required on arrival. Compliance with the age limit is a requirement for access to the accommodation.

When does my booking become binding?
The booking becomes binding when you receive a confirmation email with a booking number for your booking.

Booking confirmation
You should receive a written confirmation of your booking. The booking confirmation contains important information about your booking. Please check that the content of the booking confirmation corresponds to what you have booked. If you find any errors in the confirmation, you must inform us as soon as possible.

The reservation becomes binding when you receive a confirmation of your booking from us. It can be made in different ways, in writing, by e-mail or through an online booking system.

Payment terms
When you book, there are several different options for payment. The conditions that apply to payment are stated at the time of booking. In our online booking, prepayment applies regardless of whether you book with "non-refundable (non refundable)" or "refundable" price. In some cases, prepayment may also be required when booking by phone or email.

Change and transfer of reservation
Changes to reservations can be made free of charge by contacting us or in our online booking. Changes to arrivals and departures can be made until 6 pm the day before the day of arrival, subject to availability. For non-refundable bookings, only the arrival date can be changed and no later than 7 days before the arrival date. Transfer of the booking can be made up to 7 days before the arrival date for an administrative fee of 160 SEK, regardless of whether you have booked a "non-refundable" or "refundable" rate.

We reserve the right to cancel a reservation if we suspect that the requirements will not be met during your stay.

Departure earlier than planned
If you choose to leave earlier than planned, no refunds will be made unless otherwise agreed with us.

What happens if I want to cancel

  • You can cancel yourself via your booking confirmation, verbally, in writing, by email or by logging in to the site where you made your booking. You will find the link in your booking confirmation. When booking with a "refundable" rate, cancellations can be made until 18:00 the day before the arrival date. The full amount of the reservation will be refunded minus an administrative fee of 160 SEK.
  • When booking accommodation with "non-refundable", the booking can be canceled but no refund of the booking amount will be made.

Limits of the campsite's responsibility for control
In the event that the stay cannot be carried out due to an obstacle beyond our control and which we could not reasonably be expected to have anticipated when the agreement was concluded and the consequences of which we could not reasonably have avoided or overcome, we are free from liability for damages or other penalties. If the obstacle is due to someone we have hired to carry out all or part of the camping service, we are free from liability for damages only if the person we have hired would also be free according to the paragraph above. The same applies if the defect is due to a supplier we have engaged or someone else upstream.

What are my obligations?
During your stay at the campsite and the purchase of accommodation, you undertake to comply with the rules of conduct and order applicable at any given time and to follow the instructions of our staff. If you, or someone in your party, do not follow the instructions of our staff or the applicable rules of conduct and order, we reserve the right to expel you and your party from the campsite, cottage or hostel. You will then lose your right to use the purchased accommodation or to refund what you have paid.

It is not permitted to sublet or lend the accommodation/login you have rented. You may also not stay more people in the booked accommodation/login than stated at the time of booking, or in a separate written agreement with us. In case of violation of the above rules, we reserve the right to expel you and your party from the campsite, cottage, hostel. You then lose your right to use the purchased accommodation or to refund what you have paid. In the event of unauthorized subletting of a campsite, cottage or hostel, we reserve the right to hold you responsible for the subtenant's, and his/her party's, breach of the terms and conditions that apply between us and you.

What happens if we do not reach an agreement?
If we cannot reach an agreement, you can seek help from the following dispute resolution bodies: - The Visitas Liability Board, which is the industry's own complaints board. We do not undertake to participate in alternative dispute resolution procedures other than the General Complaints Board (ARN) and Visita, but will take a position on this matter in the event of a dispute. You are also free to take the dispute to a general court.

Personal Data Act
We are responsible for processing the personal data that you provide when booking a parking space (such as name, address and telephone number). We will process the personal data in order to administer the booking and payment and to otherwise be able to fulfill our obligations and safeguard rights under the agreements entered into with you. The data may be disclosed to debt collection companies, authorities/courts for collection, determination and fulfillment of your contractual obligations.

You have the right to access once a year free of charge, upon written request, what data has been registered, how it is used, from where the data has been retrieved and to receive information about any recipients to whom the data has been disclosed. You have the right to request correction of any changed or incorrect information at anytime.

If you give your active consent, we may use the personal data for the marketing of our business.

Right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal under the Act (2005:59) on Distance Contracts and Off-Premises Contracts is excluded from contracts for accommodation, lodging or leisure activities and therefore you cannot withdraw from a contract for the rental of a tent, caravan or camper van and the rental of a cabin or room.

Welcome to our campsite!
The following rules are for your and the other guests' comfort. We hope these will make your stay at our campsite a pleasant one.

  1. Register at the reception desk immediately upon arrival. Groups are registered by the group leader. Notify us directly when registering if you are bringing an extra tent, boat, trailer, etc.
  2. Temporary visitors are asked to park their vehicle in the parking lot outside the area or in a designated area within the area. The campsite has the right to charge a fee from temporary visitors. See separate price list.
  3. The campsite staff are responsible for maintaining peace and order, and will help if problems arise.
  4. All tenting equipment of normal type and size may be used. However, it is not permitted to set up so-called tent houses of a permanent nature. Caravans must be registered for use with a motor vehicle.
  5. It is not permitted to charge electric cars on the campsite's electricity poles or directly or via the caravan's, motorhome's own electrical outlets.
  6. You are not allowed to set up your own fixed structures around your tent or caravan, such as fences and barriers. Ask if you are in doubt about what you are allowed to do. Ensure that LPG and electrical equipment is tested and approved according to current regulations.
  7. Do not disturb the peace of the campsite with a motorized vehicle more than absolutely necessary. Drive at walking speed and as short distances as possible.
  8. A general rule on campsites is to be considerate. Disruptive behavior is not allowed. Between 23:00 and 07:00, the campsite must be quiet.
  9. Help children to find places suitable for play and ball games. In most places, special playgrounds and ball fields are provided. Throwing or kicking a ball among the tents and caravans is not allowed.
  10. Dog owners are asked to be as considerate as possible towards other guests. Keep your dog on a short leash and walk it in the designated area or outside the area. Don't forget to bring it up in case of an accident.
  11. Sales at and within the campsite may only take place with the permission of the campsite manager.
  12. Help keep the campsite clean and litter-free. Use the rubbish bins provided in the area. Remember never to put glowing charcoal or other flammable objects in the garbage bins.
  13. Leave the common areas (toilets, washing and shower rooms, kitchens and dishes, etc.) in the same condition as you wish to find them.
  14. Car washing can only be done in a designated area.
  15. Unless otherwise agreed with the reception, the campsite must be vacated and cleaned before 12.00 on the day of departure. This is to accommodate new guests. Please give notice of the day of departure in good time, especially during the high season.
  16. The campsite and its staff are not responsible for damage to or loss of campers' property. Anyone who damages buildings, materials or guests' belongings may be liable for compensation.
  17. We expect all campers to respect each other and help keep order. The staff has an obligation to act in cases where a guest does not respect these rules.
  18. Take care of nature - it needs your protection

 

This campsite is a member of the industry organization SCR Svensk Camping and follows the industry's common ethical rules. They follow the guiding principles of honesty and consideration for guests and employees and respect for the rules of society.
